At home with fashion designer Trine Wackerhausen

Fashion designer Trine Eackerhausen and Jens Brøndum Johansen, graphic artist at Dyrup and their dog Alma live in this beautiful 50sqm apartment on Nørrebro in Copenhagen with a focus on vintage, colors and art.

The couple has a great passion for wood and their home is mainly decorated with vintage furniture and items, mixed with new design for a contemporary expression. "Wood is beautiful, vibrant, warm and best of all, when it is aged and patinated. It is also why we never buy newly manufactured things. There are so many opportunities to buy furniture that just has all the signs of a lived life."

The kitchen comes from the 50s, and has been updated with new doors, countertop, paint, handles and tiles.
