Restoration, repairs, and maintenance

Vintage Danish furniture is renowned for its simplicity, functionality, and craftsmanship. The thought process behind every designer and cabinetmaker of the time is what makes these pieces so special. Restoring vintage furniture is a careful, thoughtful process that involves removing dirt, scratches, and paint, repairing broken parts, and reviving the pieces to ensure they can continue to enrich spaces for many more years and generations. Our restoration process is not just about wiping or removing dirt and build-up from the surface; we carefully assess each original piece's condition before it goes to our workshop for restoration.

Although these pieces were produced many decades ago, we do our best to restore the wood's beauty to its original shine. The work put into restoration, repair, and maintenance is of significant value, and we offer these services for most of the pieces we sell. Day-to-day use can lead to wear and fatigue, so it's important to maintain your furniture properly to keep it in good condition. We recommend performing regular maintenance at least once or twice a year to protect your furniture from deteriorating and keep it clean.

We understand that sometimes, restoration and repairs are necessary for vintage furniture to remain functional and beautiful. That's why we offer these services for our customers. You can send us an email together with your purchase invoice, photos, and descriptions of your furniture piece, and we will provide you with a quote, transport fees, and an estimated completion time. Please feel free to consult us for more information and prices.
