A pair of Finn Juhl (1912 - 1989) 'Diplomat' armchairs in Brazilian rosewood. This classy armchair, which has been in use in many embassies worldwide, features a floating backrest separate from the frame, an iconic feature synonymous with many of Finn Juhl's chairs. The arms are curved and beautifully sculpted, and the backrest and expansive seat are comfortable. We've restored the frames and have newly upholstered the backrests and seats with new foam and fabric. Designed in 1961.
