Kai Kristiansen (1929 - ) model 63 bureau in teak. This outstanding bureau features a slanted top portion with a drop-down panel that functions as a desk, revealing an impressive interior with floating shelves, pull-out drawers with exposed joinery and a generous open compartment ideal for displaying books. The drop-down panel, when used as a desk, can be pushed in further, allowing the bureau to be left open. The integrated handles are carved from solid pieces of teak, and the legs, also made of solid teak, are a continuation of the edges, which offer greater stability than legs attached separately. Designed in 1954 and produced by Tørring Møbelfabrik.
