Finn Juhl (1912 - 1989) “Diplomat” armchair in Brazilian rosewood. This classy armchair, which has been in use in many embassies worldwide, features a floating backrest separate from the frame, an iconic feature synonymous with many of Finn Juhl's chairs. The arms are curved and beautifully sculpted, and the backrest and expansive seat are comfortable. We've restored the frame and have newly upholstered the backrest and seat with new foam and fabric. Designed in 1961.
