Early Hans J. Wegner (1914 - 2007) GE 6 freestanding sofa daybed. This iconic daybed in teak, with tapered legs, features a backrest that lifts to reveal storage for pillows, cushions, and blankets, and functions as a bed. The original sprung cushion and backrest have been newly re-padded and upholstered in a new fabric. Designed in 1954. Burnt-stamped and produced by Getama.
