Johannes Andersen (1903–1991), freestanding organic desk in Brazilian rosewood. This beautiful desk with outstanding grain features an organically shaped floating top with raised lips. Two banks of drawers with sculpted pulls offer storage, and the angled stretchers at the bottom offer added stability. The back of the desk features an open compartment and two drop-down doors. Often misattributed to Svend Aage Madsen, this desk is a fine example of Danish craftsmanship.
