A rare vintage Hans J. Wegner (1914 - 2007) CH27 easy chair in solid oak and cane. The master of chairs, Wegner, experimented further with the weaving motif of his JH512 folding chair from 1949 on this fixed version in 1951. The result was a magnificent construction that marries the best details of his super-rare Dolphin chair from 1950, the JH512 folding chair from 1949 and the CH25 easy chair from 1950, yet the CH27 easy chair on its own is peerless. Burn stamped and produced by Carl Hansen & Søn.
