Kaare Klint (1888 - 1954) safari chair in solid ash wood. Klint, widely regarded as the father of modern Danish furniture design, designed this iteration in 1933, further refining and simplifying this collapsible and lightweight chair. The chair's joints tighten when occupied, thus enhancing strength and stability. This chair has been restored and features new aniline leather. Produced by legendary cabinetmaker Rud. Rasmussen.
